Product strategy and UX
Discovery, research, product framing, information architecture, user flows, prototyping, testing, and product storytelling.

About Emmanuel
Across more than eight years, that curiosity has carried me from drawing and mechanical engineering into product design, enterprise systems, financial technology, and AI-assisted software engineering. My practice has grown through agencies, global product teams, and independent work across Africa, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
Today, I connect product, engineering, customer discovery, and company building at Remllo. I also mentor designers and keep experimenting with software, turning complex problems into useful things people can understand and use.
The connecting thread
Drawing taught me observation. Engineering taught me to respect constraints and consequences. Agency work taught me range and delivery. Enterprise products taught me systems thinking. Fintech taught me trust, accuracy, and operational complexity.
I studied Mechanical Engineering at Landmark University from 2013 to 2018. The degree did not prescribe the career I would eventually build, but it gave me a durable way of thinking about systems, constraints, cause and effect, and the responsibility behind how things are made.
Those chapters now meet in my work as founder of Remllo. I move between understanding a difficult market, speaking with customers, shaping the product, building software, raising capital, and creating the organisation that can carry the idea forward.
Capabilities
My strongest work sits where product thinking, complex systems, software, and ownership meet.
Discovery, research, product framing, information architecture, user flows, prototyping, testing, and product storytelling.
Simplifying data-heavy B2B products, financial operations, analytics, procurement, risk, and connected enterprise workflows.
Using AI-assisted engineering to move from product thinking into working software, internal tools, experiments, and cloud-deployed systems.
Connecting customer discovery, product direction, design, engineering, fundraising, and operations while building Remllo.
Tools
I use the right combination of design, collaboration, engineering, and AI tools to move an idea into something people can use.

Work experience
From enterprise systems and financial infrastructure to global product teams and founding a company.
Building connected infrastructure for transaction monitoring, fraud detection, identity, AML, and compliance while leading product direction, customer discovery, engineering, and fundraising.
Selected engagements include EPIC Auto, Riva Money, Construction Fixing Systems, Ethos Network, and Kapturly across automotive finance, cross-border payments, Web3, engineering software, and marketplaces.
Led product design across financial reconciliation, lending analytics, exception management, and transaction-file validation for complex B2B financial operations.
Designed enterprise systems spanning school management, asset and inventory operations, banking procurement, legal services, and career platforms.
Improved the mobile product experience and introduced simpler, more engaging journeys through gamification and focused interaction design.
Built range across fintech, edtech, delivery, trading, legal, crowdfunding, and early-stage digital products while developing my product practice.
Mentorship
I have supported designers as they sharpened their product thinking, rebuilt portfolios, prepared for new roles, and found confidence in their own voice. I mentor through ADPList and also support designers as an onboarding buddy and mentor in the Toptal community.
Helping designers move beyond screens and understand users, systems, constraints, and business outcomes.
Helping people communicate the decisions, tradeoffs, and growth behind their work with clarity and confidence.
Supporting designers as they navigate new roles, global networks, leadership, and the changing possibilities created by AI.
What people say about me
Emmanuel is always eager to learn and take on new challenges, with a natural ability to translate complex concepts into visual designs that resonate with clients.

Beyond the work
I am adventurous by nature. Outside product and company building, I love travelling, cooking, reading, learning about history and culture, watching films, playing video games, and studying ideas from different angles.
Curiosity is what connects all of it. It keeps me asking better questions, trying unfamiliar things, and following an idea far enough to discover what it could become.
